Marwen’s no-cost programs exist for young artists in Chicago who want to explore visual arts, can commit to a 4-week art class, are in 6th-12th grades during the 2020/21 school year, and do not have access to arts programming due to financial and systemic barriers. REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Summer Term courses at Marwen will remain virtual, include art kits, and provide opportunities to work both through Zoom studio spaces and independently off-screen. Courses and workshops will run for 4 weeks, July 12 - August 6. We are excited to offer one optional in-person session per course.
During these 4 weeks, there will be 8 unique courses, including 1 commissioned opportunity, meeting twice a week for 1.5 hours each session. Course descriptions will be posted the week of June 21.
Registration for courses will be open for one week, June 23-30 at marwen.org/registration. Please note the commissioned opportunity requires an application (details coming soon).
