Card sales directly support Marwen’s no-cost programming for Chicago youth, including virtual arts courses, college planning, and paid career programs.
Our teen-designed greeting cards are created annually through Marwen’s Design to Print commissioned course. Cards are sold in person at Marwen events, in local shops, and at fairs and markets throughout the year.
Marwen’s longest-running young artist commission program
Every year, Marwen pays young artists to design greeting cards. The class, called Design to Print, is an an opportunity for Chicago teens to work as commissioned artists.
2026 marks the 31st anniversary of the Design to Print program, which is sponsored by the Zell Family Foundation.
