New Student Orientation | Spring Term 2025

 

Spring Term 2025 Orientation dates:

Saturday, January 25, 11 am - 12:30 pm AND 1-2:30 pm (in person)

Wednesday, January 29, 6-7 pm (virtual on zoom)

Saturday, February 1, 11 am - 12:30 pm AND 1-2:30 pm (in person)

Get started here by completing our Interest Form. Once submitted, our Enrollment team will connect with you to schedule your orientation and answer any questions.

Spring Term 2025 runs for 10 weeks (Feb-May), one class per week, 2.5 hours per session, for a total of 25 class hours. 

Classes are held Wed 5-7:30 pm, Thur 5-7:30 pm, Fri 5-7:30 pm, Sat 10 am - 12:30 pm, or Sat 1:30- 4 pm.

During your new student orientation, you will learn about Marwen, take a studio tour, meet staff, and create an account to register for Spring term 2025 courses.

5 Important Things to Know: 

1. New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new students who want to participate in Marwen's FREE visual arts programs. 
2. Please arrive on time, so we can show you around the galleries and studios and get you registered for Summer art classes!
3. Students under 18 are required to attend orientation with a parent or guardian.  
4. Limited free parking is available in our lot. Public transportation is highly recommended. We're 2 blocks from the Chicago Brown line station.
5. Be prepared to spend a full 2 hours at Marwen. (We've got snacks, don't worry.)
