Propose a Course

New Course Proposals for Summer Term 2014 are no longer being accepted.

Marwen will only accept electronic course proposals. Incomplete or late proposals will not be considered.

The Role of the Teaching Artist

Marwen hires exceptional practicing artists to teach courses that encourage creative thinking through instruction in a variety of visual art media. Key components of creating environments designed to support student learning include demonstrations, critiques, guest artists, field trips, and hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art studios. Individual attention and small class sizes encourage participation and dialogue. Strong staff support, opportunities for professional development and peer-to-peer learning set the foundation for teaching artists to thrive at Marwen.
